Biography
Alex Browning is a filmmaker and television director. He's directed over seventy episodes of scripted television. His credits include BBC One's three-part drama 'Granite Harbour', and many episodes of ITV's 'Emmerdale' and 'Coronation Street', Channel 4's 'Hollyoaks' and BBC's 'Eastenders'.
Alex has made a number of short films too including 'Daylight Rules', an award-winning visionary genre film with SKY and BFI, starring T'Nia Miller (Apple TV's 'Foundation') and David Ajala ('Star Trek: Discovery'). Alex has also directed hundreds of commercials and branded content for the likes of Google,TopMan, CNN and various tourism boards.
Before branching out into the screen industries, Alex's background includes performing and programming contemporary theatre. Alex is a sought after workshop leader, tutor and coach - he aims to ignite the storyteller in all of us and guide actors in finding the emotional truth in every scene.
